About the Artist:
Daniel Shepard is an illustrator and graphic designer based in New York City. Born and raised in Leon, Mexico. After finishing his studies, Daniel moved to New York pursuing a career in illustration.
Daniel’s work can be playful, yet grotesque, and is always honest to his personal experiences growing up around skateboarding, music, and Mexican culture. References to religious, psychedelic, and macabre motifs can be seen throughout his work, all representing a fraction of his identity.
Daniel has been profiled in Thrasher and Bon Appetit, he’s been tapped for special collaborations with Doc Martens, Santa Cruz, and Labor Skateshop, and he’s designed graphics and album art for local rock and roll bands as well.
